Welcome to The Willow Class webpage!

Hello and a big welcome from all the staff and children at Ightham Primary School! This is our Willow Class webpage where all important information regarding the class such as routines, upcoming activities/events and home support can be found. Please speak to Mr Terry if you have any questions.

Contact Books

Are an important link between home and school. Please sign/initial daily. Homework and letters will be clipped inside (please do not remove the clips.) Signed daily by staff


Uniform and belongings

Make sure all uniform and PE kit is clearly labelled. Please ensure they have a waterproof coat in school every day. PE kit should include: shorts, t-shirt, tracksuit bottoms and top, trainers/plimsolls and socks.


Reading books

Your child is responsible for changing his / her book as needed. Please continue to record comments in your child’s reading journal.


PE

Our PE days will change from term to term. Please ensure your child has their PE kit in school at all times during term time.

Throughout the year, formative assessments are carried out and each child’s progress is assessed against age-related expectations. Your child will therefore be in one of four broad bands for Reading, Writing and Maths:
